Safety Officer – Abqaiq
Aquatech GCC has announced an urgent requirement for Safety Officers (ARAMCO Approved) for a short-term industrial project located in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. This position is intended for qualified HSE professionals who can ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment across project sites. The role is critical in monitoring site activities, preventing incidents, and enforcing safety standards in line with Aramco project requirements. Key Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the project site. Duties include conducting regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions to prevent accidents. The officer will monitor workforce activities, ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings. Additional responsibilities include preparing incident reports, investigating workplace accidents, maintaining safety documentation, and ensuring all operations comply with Aramco-approved safety procedures and project guidelines.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong knowledge of HSE systems, Aramco safety standards, and industrial site safety practices. Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, incident reporting, and safety audits is essential. Candidates should be capable of managing site safety operations in high-risk industrial environments. Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail are required.
