Safety Officer – Ocean Blitz
Ocean Blitz General Contracting has announced an urgent recruitment requirement for experienced Safety Officers to support ongoing long-term projects in Saudi Arabia. The company is specifically seeking candidates with SABIC EPM approval and strong field experience in industrial safety operations. This role is essential for maintaining workplace safety, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, and reducing operational risks across project sites. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety Officers will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety procedures across project sites. Duties include conducting regular site inspections, identifying potential hazards, ensuring compliance with SABIC safety standards, and enforcing risk control measures. They will also conduct toolbox talks, maintain safety documentation, investigate incidents, and ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel. The role requires active coordination with project supervisors and management to maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all HSE policies.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in industrial safety roles, preferably within SABIC or similar petrochemical projects. SABIC EPM approval is mandatory for this position. Candidates should have strong knowledge of HSE procedures, risk assessment methods, safety audits, and incident investigation processes. Good communication skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure in industrial environments are essential.
