Safety Officer & WPR Jobs

ERA Arabia is urgently hiring qualified Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for a long-term industrial project in Jafurah, Saudi Arabia. These roles are essential for ensuring safe execution of high-risk construction and oil & gas activities by maintaining strict compliance with site safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.

Core Responsibilities

Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring workplace safety, conducting inspections, enforcing PPE compliance, identifying hazards, and ensuring adherence to approved safety procedures. They will also prepare safety reports, conduct toolbox talks, and support incident prevention measures across the project site.

Work Permit Receivers (WPR) will manage and verify work permits before any activity begins, ensuring all job tasks are properly authorized. They will coordinate with site engineers and safety teams, confirm hazard controls, and ensure all work is carried out according to approved permit conditions and project safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants must have relevant experience in industrial or oil & gas projects. Safety Officer candidates must hold a valid NEBOSH certification, while WPR candidates must be familiar with permit-to-work systems. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard identification, and site coordination is required. Chamber registration is mandatory for all applicants. Candidates must also possess valid passport and work-related documents.
