SAFETY OFFICER & WPR

An urgent manpower requirement has been announced for experienced Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for long-term industrial projects in Jubail and Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. These positions are specifically for Aramco-approved candidates with relevant plant experience, particularly in Berry Gas Plant operations. The roles are critical for maintaining strict safety compliance and ensuring proper authorization of work activities in high-risk industrial environments.

PROJECT IMPORTANCE

These roles support major oil and gas operations where safety control and permit management are essential. In Aramco facilities, every task must be properly authorized and monitored to prevent accidents and ensure operational continuity. Safety Officers and WPR professionals play a key role in enforcing safety standards, managing risk, and ensuring that all site activities comply with Aramco regulations and international safety procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety Officer (Berry Gas Plant Approved)

Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring site activities and ensuring full compliance with Aramco safety standards. Duties include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, enforcing safety procedures, and ensuring workers follow proper protective measures. They must coordinate with supervisors and project teams to maintain a safe working environment and prevent incidents at site.

Work Permit Receiver (WPR – Aramco Approved)

WPR personnel will manage the permit-to-work system by ensuring that all jobs are properly authorized before execution. They are responsible for verifying safety requirements, coordinating with operations teams, and ensuring compliance with Aramco permit procedures. They must ensure that no work begins without proper approval and documentation.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must hold valid Aramco approval, especially for Berry Gas Plant operations (for Safety Officers). Prior experience in oil & gas facilities is mandatory. Applicants should have strong knowledge of industrial safety procedures, hazard control, and permit-to-work systems. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-risk environments are essential. Candidates must be physically fit and ready for long-term deployment.
