Safety Trainer Jubail

ALI FOUAD ALBANNAWI GENERAL CONTRACTING CO. (AFCO) is currently seeking an experienced Safety Trainer for an urgent project requirement in Jubail. The Safety Trainer plays a vital role in promoting workplace safety, improving employee awareness, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This position is responsible for educating workers on safe work practices, hazard prevention, emergency procedures, and project-specific safety requirements. As industrial projects continue to prioritize accident prevention and regulatory compliance, the role of a qualified Safety Trainer has become increasingly important in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Trainer will be responsible for conducting safety orientations, toolbox talks, and formal training sessions for employees and contractors. The selected candidate must develop and deliver training programs related to workplace hazards, personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency response procedures, and safe work practices. Additional responsibilities include maintaining training records, assessing employee competency, identifying training needs, and ensuring compliance with company and project safety standards. The trainer will work closely with site management and safety teams to promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives. Effective communication and the ability to engage workers from diverse backgrounds are essential for success in this role.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants should possess strong experience in occupational health and safety training, preferably within industrial, construction, or oil and gas projects. Excellent presentation and communication skills are required to effectively deliver training programs and safety awareness sessions. Candidates should have a solid understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment procedures, incident prevention techniques, and emergency preparedness. The ability to prepare training materials, maintain accurate records, and evaluate trainee performance is also important. Applicants must have valid project documentation, including Chamber registration, Ajeer certificate, IQAMA, and other required supporting documents. Previous experience as a Safety Trainer in large-scale projects will be considered a significant advantage.
