These trades are important to the safe and efficient execution of structural, fabrication, access, and general construction activities on major industrial projects. Rabigh is an established industrial area on Saudi Arabia’s western coast, and projects in this region contribute to the country’s wider industrial and infrastructure development. The requirement is specifically intended for candidates who already hold a valid Saudi Iqama and can meet the project’s mobilization requirements.
Core Responsibilities
Steel Fixers will be responsible for cutting, bending, positioning, and tying reinforcement steel according to drawings and site requirements, ensuring reinforcement is correctly prepared before concrete work. Scaffolders will handle the erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems while maintaining safe access for workers. Grindermen will carry out grinding, surface preparation, edge finishing, and related activities using appropriate tools and equipment. Welders qualified for 3G/4G work will perform welding operations according to project specifications, while Helpers will support skilled workers with material handling, housekeeping, tools, and other assigned site activities. Each position contributes to maintaining productivity, work quality, and safe site operations.

Applicants should have practical knowledge relevant to the category for which they are applying. Steel Fixers should understand reinforcement installation and basic construction drawings, while Scaffolders should be familiar with safe scaffold assembly and dismantling procedures. Grindermen should know how to operate grinding equipment safely and prepare metal surfaces properly. Welders must possess practical 3G/4G welding capability and be able to work according to applicable site procedures. Helpers should be physically capable of performing general construction support duties and following instructions from supervisors and skilled tradesmen. Since this recruitment is for a Saudi project, candidates must have a valid Iqama and be prepared to comply with site safety and work requirements.
Project & Site Environment
The project is located in Rabigh, within the Jeddah region of Saudi Arabia, and is described as a long-term assignment. Construction work at an industrial project generally requires coordination between multiple trades, supervisors, equipment operators, and site-management teams. Workers may be required to operate or work around construction tools, welding equipment, scaffolding systems, reinforcement materials, and other site machinery depending on their assigned category. Proper personal protective equipment, work permits where applicable, safe access, and adherence to site procedures are essential parts of daily operations.
