Store Keeper
The Store Keeper position in Al Jubail is a key administrative and inventory management role within the contracting and industrial sector. This role is responsible for ensuring proper control, recording, and distribution of materials required for ongoing project operations. Store Keepers play an important part in maintaining accurate stock levels, preventing material shortages, and supporting smooth workflow across construction and industrial sites. In fast-moving projects, effective store management directly contributes to productivity, cost control, and timely completion of tasks, making this position highly essential for operational success.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Store Keeper will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing materials in the project store. Duties include receiving deliveries, checking material quality and quantity, maintaining proper stock records, and issuing materials to site teams as per approved requests. The role also involves updating inventory logs, preparing stock reports, and coordinating with procurement and site engineers to ensure material availability. The Store Keeper must ensure proper storage conditions, prevent damage or loss of items, and maintain accurate documentation at all times. Strong coordination with supervisors and strict adherence to company procedures are essential for this position.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in construction or industrial projects. A strong understanding of stock management systems, material tracking, and documentation procedures is required. Applicants should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple inventory tasks efficiently. Basic computer knowledge for record-keeping and reporting will be considered an advantage. A valid Absher IQAMA with at least 3 months validity is mandatory, along with passport copy, insurance copy, Muqeem copy, updated CV, and other required documents. Experience certificates and Chamber registration are also essential for processing.
