Role Description & Industry Importance
Tea Boys play an important support role in maintaining smooth daily operations within offices, labor camps, and industrial sites. In large manpower companies and maintenance firms, hospitality support staff help improve workplace efficiency by assisting in basic service needs, allowing other workers to focus on operational tasks. Though simple in nature, this role is essential for maintaining discipline and workplace satisfaction.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for preparing and serving tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and visitors. They will also assist in maintaining cleanliness in service areas and ensuring proper hygiene standards. Additional duties include distributing beverages to different departments, refilling supplies, and supporting general housekeeping tasks when required. Tea Boys must follow instructions from supervisors, maintain punctuality, and ensure proper service during working hours. Discipline and respectful behavior in the workplace are mandatory.
Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants should have basic experience in hospitality or tea service roles. Good behavior, cleanliness, and a cooperative attitude are important for this position. No high qualification is required, but candidates must be physically fit and willing to work 10-hour shifts. Both expired iqama and valid iqama holders are eligible, as per company requirement. Preference is given to candidates who can adapt to multi-cultural working environments. Basic understanding of workplace hygiene and service manners is expected.
