The WPR position is a critical role in mining and industrial operations where safety, compliance, and permit management are essential. Work Permit Receivers ensure that all work activities are properly authorized, documented, and executed according to approved safety procedures. This role helps maintain a safe working environment and supports smooth project operations within Ma’aden industrial facilities.
Key Duties and Job Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver is responsible for obtaining, reviewing, and managing work permits before any job activity begins. Duties include coordinating with safety departments, supervisors, and project management teams to ensure all safety requirements are fulfilled. The WPR must verify permit conditions, monitor ongoing work activities, and ensure compliance with approved procedures. Additional responsibilities include maintaining permit records, conducting field verification, communicating safety requirements to workers, and supporting site teams during operational activities.
