Focus Service Company Ltd. is urgently recruiting experienced professionals for a SABIC Shutdown Project in Saudi Arabia. The primary vacancy is for Work Permit Receivers (WPR), along with several other technical, supervisory, quality control, safety, and skilled trade positions. This short-term project offers competitive hourly rates and immediate mobilization for qualified candidates. All applicants must have previous SABIC experience, as it is a mandatory requirement for every trade. Certain positions, such as WPR and Safety Officer, also require candidates to have the same profession listed on their Iqama. This recruitment provides an excellent opportunity for experienced industrial professionals to work on a major shutdown project while earning attractive hourly wages.
Key Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) will be responsible for managing the permit-to-work system, ensuring that all work activities are properly authorized before commencement, and coordinating with operations, maintenance, and safety departments. Daily responsibilities include reviewing work permits, identifying workplace hazards, confirming site readiness, maintaining permit documentation, and ensuring compliance with SABIC safety procedures. Depending on the selected role, Fire Watch personnel will monitor hot work operations, Safety Officers will enforce HSE regulations, Civil and Mechanical QC professionals will inspect construction quality, Supervisors and Foremen will oversee field operations, while Welders, Fabricators, Pipe Fitters, Electricians, and Helpers will perform trade-specific duties according to project specifications and industrial safety standards.
Skills and Professional Knowledge
Candidates must have relevant SABIC project experience, which is mandatory for all available positions. WPR and Safety Officer applicants should have the same profession reflected on their Iqama. Civil QC candidates must possess a relevant engineering degree in addition to SABIC experience. Applicants should demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety. A valid AJEER registration, SABIC Medical Certificate, and complete employment documents are required. Candidates must also present their original passport, as entry to the recruitment office will not be permitted without it.
