WPR (10 position)

Saudi Arabia’s industrial and energy projects continue to require qualified Work Permit Receivers who understand safe work procedures and can coordinate permit-related activities effectively. An urgent recruitment opportunity is currently available for Aramco-approved WPRs in Jizan, with 10 vacancies for candidates holding the required Ajeer documentation. The position offers long-term project potential, company-provided food and accommodation, and an opportunity to work in a demanding industrial environment.

Role Overview & Importance

A Work Permit Receiver plays an important role in maintaining safe control over site activities that require formal work authorization. WPRs coordinate with supervisors and relevant site personnel to ensure that work begins only after the required permits, precautions, and conditions have been established. In industrial projects, careful permit coordination can help prevent unsafe work practices and ensure activities remain aligned with project safety requirements. For this reason, experienced and approved WPRs are valuable members of the site team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The selected WPRs will be responsible for coordinating work permits according to project procedures and communicating permit conditions to the relevant work crews. Their duties may include checking work areas before activities begin, confirming that required safety precautions are in place, coordinating with permit authorities and supervisors, and monitoring compliance with approved permit conditions. WPRs should maintain proper documentation, communicate clearly with different teams, and immediately report unsafe conditions or changes that could affect the validity of a permit. Strong attention to detail and a safety-focused approach will be essential.

Skills, Experience & Eligibility

Candidates applying for this opportunity must have Aramco approval and the required Ajeer documentation. Practical experience in industrial or construction environments will be highly valuable, particularly for candidates familiar with permit-to-work systems. Applicants should be capable of communicating professionally with supervisors and workers, following established safety procedures, and handling permit documentation accurately. Candidates must also be ready to provide normal employment documents along with their passport for verification. Those who meet the requirements and are available for the project should submit their CV promptly.
