WPR, Rigger & Heavy Equipment Operator
Industrial projects depend on properly trained manpower to manage permits, lifting operations, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Fastway Arabia Company is currently accepting applications for several positions in Abqaiq, including Work Permit Receivers, Aramco-approved Riggers, and Heavy Equipment Operators. The assignments are offered for an initial period of 3 to 6 months with the possibility of extension, while selected candidates can proceed toward immediate mobilization after completing the required selection and documentation process.
Key Positions Supporting Project Operations
Work Permit Receivers help ensure that site activities are properly authorized and performed under the required safety controls. Aramco-approved Riggers support lifting teams by preparing loads and coordinating safe lifting operations. Heavy Equipment Operators, meanwhile, handle machinery used for excavation, material movement, construction support, and other demanding site activities. Each position requires responsible workers who can follow instructions and maintain safe working practices throughout the project.
Responsibilities & Daily Work
The Work Permit Receiver will support permit-to-work activities by checking job requirements, coordinating with relevant personnel, and ensuring that necessary precautions are in place before work begins. The role also involves monitoring permit conditions and communicating any changes or unsafe situations to the responsible team.
Rigger I, II, and III personnel will prepare and secure loads, inspect lifting accessories, assist with positioning materials, and communicate effectively with crane operators and lifting supervisors. Candidates must understand safe rigging practices and comply with approved lifting procedures.
Heavy Equipment Operators will operate assigned machinery according to their authorization and project requirements. Their duties may include equipment inspections, material handling, site preparation, loading or excavation activities, and reporting mechanical or safety issues. Operators are expected to maintain safe distances and follow site traffic and equipment procedures.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have relevant practical experience in the position they are applying for. Aramco approval is required for the WPR and Rigger positions, while Heavy Equipment Operators should possess suitable operating experience and any applicable authorization required for their assigned machinery.
Candidates must have Ajeer, Muqeem, and a valid Iqama available for processing. Applicants should submit their CV along with complete supporting documents so that their qualifications and eligibility can be reviewed. Workers who can mobilize quickly after selection will be particularly suitable for this requirement.
