Safety Officer – Long-Term

ARC is urgently hiring experienced Safety Officers for a long-term industrial project at Amiral, Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Role Overview and Industry Importance

A Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to ensure a safe workplace. On industrial projects, Safety Officers conduct site inspections, identify hazards, enforce safety procedures, investigate incidents, and promote compliance with company and client safety standards. Their role is essential in preventing workplace accidents and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will conduct daily safety inspections, monitor work activities for compliance with HSE regulations, identify and report hazards, participate in toolbox talks, verify the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain safety records, investigate incidents, and ensure all work is carried out according to project safety requirements.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Saudi Arabia as a Safety Officer. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of industrial HSE practices, risk assessment, hazard identification, emergency response procedures, and workplace safety regulations. Good communication and reporting skills are also required.
