Riggers are a vital part of lifting operations because the safety of a load depends heavily on correct preparation, securing, and communication. Level 3 riggers are expected to understand more advanced lifting activities, recognize potential risks, and work closely with crane operators and lifting supervisors. Accurate rigging helps protect personnel, equipment, and materials while keeping project activities on schedule.
Main Responsibilities on the Project
Selected Rigger Level 3 workers will prepare loads for lifting, select and inspect suitable rigging accessories, secure loads correctly, and assist with positioning materials at the required locations. They will work closely with crane operators and other members of the lifting team using approved signals and communication procedures.
Daily duties may also include checking slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories before use; identifying damaged equipment; maintaining safe working distances; and following approved lifting plans and site procedures. Riggers must immediately report unsafe conditions and ensure that lifting activities are performed in a controlled and professional manner.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Candidates should have practical experience as a Rigger Level 3 and possess a valid TUV certification. The TUV document must remain valid at the time of recruitment and mobilization. Applicants should also understand basic lifting and rigging practices, load handling, safety procedures, and communication with crane operators.
The recruitment notice requires a valid Iqama, valid insurance, Muqeem, and a Body Fitness Certificate. Candidates must bring their original valid passport, while all supporting documents should be submitted as hard copies to the designated office.
