Role Overview & Project Importance
Supervisors and foremen are responsible for coordinating work crews and ensuring activities are completed according to project requirements, while skilled tradespeople carry out the technical work on site. Piping Supervisors and Foremen oversee piping activities, E&L personnel support electrical and related works, and Millwright Fitters handle mechanical installation and maintenance tasks. Structure Fitters and Grinder Men support fabrication and structural activities, while Helpers provide essential assistance to skilled workers. Together, these roles help maintain productivity and smooth project execution.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Piping Supervisors and Foremen will coordinate piping teams, monitor daily progress, review work requirements, and ensure activities follow approved procedures. E&L Supervisors and Foremen will supervise electrical and related installation activities while coordinating workers and materials. Pipe Fitters will assist with pipe preparation, fitting, alignment, and installation. Electricians will perform assigned electrical installation and maintenance work. Millwright Fitters will support mechanical assembly and equipment-related activities, while Structure Fitters will assist with steel structure preparation and installation. Grinder Men will perform grinding and surface-preparation tasks, and Helpers will support tradesmen through material handling, housekeeping, tool preparation, and other general duties.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Candidates should have practical experience relevant to the position they are applying for and be capable of working in an active industrial environment. Supervisors and Foremen should have the ability to manage work crews, coordinate daily activities, and communicate effectively with site management.
