Safety Officer, WPR & E&I Technician
Saudi Arabia continues to attract major industrial, petrochemical, and engineering projects that require skilled professionals across safety, permit coordination, and electrical and instrumentation operations. Jubail is one of the country’s key industrial employment hubs, creating regular demand for experienced manpower who can work according to strict site procedures. An urgent recruitment drive is now seeking Safety Officers, Work Permit Receivers (WPRs), and E&I Technicians for an assignment in Jubail, with interviews scheduled for 27 August 2026 and immediate mobilization for successful candidates.
Current Vacancies and Project Requirements
The recruitment includes 20 Safety Officers, 10 WPRs, and 30 E&I Technicians, providing opportunities for professionals with different technical backgrounds. Safety Officer applicants must hold SASREF or SAFCO approval, while WPR candidates need approval from either SAFCO or SASREF. E&I Technician candidates are also required to have relevant technical experience suitable for industrial project work.
The assignment is expected to continue for more than three months, making these positions suitable for candidates seeking a project with potential for continued employment. Selected workers should be prepared to mobilize quickly after successful completion of the recruitment and verification process.
Responsibilities Across the Project
Safety Officers will monitor workplace conditions, conduct inspections, identify hazards, support toolbox meetings, and ensure that workers follow established HSE procedures. They will coordinate with supervisors and site teams to address unsafe conditions and maintain a controlled working environment.
WPRs will support the work permit process by coordinating authorized activities, checking permit conditions, and communicating safety requirements to work crews. They must understand permit procedures and ensure that assigned activities remain within approved conditions.
E&I Technicians will handle electrical and instrumentation-related activities according to project requirements. Their work may include installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, cable-related tasks, and supporting electrical or instrumentation systems while following approved technical and safety standards.
Experience, Skills and Eligibility
Candidates should have practical experience relevant to the position they are applying for. Safety Officer applicants must meet the stated SASREF/SAFCO approval requirement, while WPR candidates must have SAFCO/SASREF approval. E&I Technicians should possess hands-on industrial experience and a sound understanding of electrical and instrumentation work.
All applicants should keep an updated CV and relevant documents ready for immediate submission. Candidates should provide accurate information and ensure that any approval certificates or supporting documents are genuine and valid.
