Safety Officer (5 Nos)
Safety remains a critical priority across Saudi Arabia’s oil, gas, construction, and industrial projects, where experienced HSE professionals help companies maintain safe working conditions and comply with strict project standards. Gulf Island General has announced an urgent requirement for five Aramco-approved Safety Officers with at least three years of relevant experience. The positions cover several major project locations in the Eastern Province, making this a useful opportunity for qualified candidates who are available for immediate consideration.
Role Overview and Project Importance
A Safety Officer helps maintain a controlled and compliant working environment by identifying hazards, monitoring site activities, and ensuring workers follow approved safety procedures. On large industrial projects, the role becomes especially important because different contractors and trades may be working simultaneously in potentially high-risk areas.
The successful candidates will be expected to apply their practical safety knowledge while coordinating with supervisors, workers, and project management. Aramco approval is specifically required for this recruitment, so applicants should ensure their approval credentials are current and verifiable.
Main Responsibilities on the Job
The selected Safety Officers will monitor daily site activities and inspect work areas for potential hazards. They may conduct toolbox talks, support risk assessments, check PPE compliance, and ensure that workers understand applicable safety instructions before starting their tasks.
Other responsibilities can include reporting unsafe conditions, following up on corrective actions, supporting emergency procedures, and maintaining relevant HSE records. Safety Officers must communicate clearly with work teams and take appropriate action when unsafe practices or conditions are identified.
Because the vacancies may be assigned across different project areas, candidates should be prepared to work according to the requirements of their allocated site.
Experience, Skills and Eligibility
Applicants must have at least three years of relevant experience and hold Aramco approval as stated in the vacancy. Candidates should have practical knowledge of industrial or construction safety procedures and be comfortable working in active project environments.
The required documentation includes a valid Absher Iqama copy, passport copy, insurance, Muqeem, CR copy, and Chamber documents. Applicants should ensure that all documents are genuine, current, and ready for verification during the recruitment process.
