Fire Watch and Work Permit Receiver
MAAS Contracting Est. has announced an urgent manpower requirement for the Hadeed Plant in Saudi Arabia, with openings for Fire Watch and Work Permit Receiver (WPR) personnel. One Fire Watch position is available at a rate of SAR 18 per hour, while one WPR position is offered at SAR 28 per hour. Both positions require valid authorization relevant to the Hadeed Plant environment. These roles support controlled industrial operations where permit compliance, workplace monitoring, and adherence to established safety procedures are essential. Candidates selected for the assignment will work in a structured plant environment and should be prepared to follow site-specific instructions throughout the project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Fire Watch will be responsible for monitoring assigned work areas and maintaining continuous awareness of potential fire hazards during ongoing activities. The position requires valid authorization and the ability to remain attentive while following instructions from the responsible site personnel. The WPR will support work-permit activities and ensure that assigned work is carried out in accordance with the applicable authorization and site requirements. Both positions require candidates to coordinate with other workers and supervisors, observe established safety practices, and respond appropriately to site instructions. Since the requirement is for a plant environment, personnel must maintain discipline and remain focused on their assigned duties throughout the working period.
Required Authorization and Competencies
Candidates should possess the appropriate practical knowledge for the position they are applying for and must have valid authorization as specified in the requirement. For the Fire Watch position, candidates should understand the importance of monitoring work areas and identifying potential fire-related hazards. WPR candidates should be familiar with controlled work environments and permit-related responsibilities. Valid Hadeed authorization is specifically required, and candidates who already hold a valid Hadeed ID can proceed with direct mobilization. Applicants should also have a valid Iqama, while Chamber documentation is required as part of the mobilization process. Candidates should provide their authorization, ID, and Iqama details for verification before proceeding.
Hadeed Plant Work Environment
The assignment is based at the Hadeed Plant, where work is carried out within an industrial plant setting requiring controlled access and compliance with site procedures. The project is scheduled for a 2-month duration, with room-to-room duty specified in the recruitment details. Transportation will be provided by the company, supporting movement associated with the assignment. Candidates already holding a valid Hadeed ID can be mobilized directly, while candidates without an Hadeed ID will have ID processing arranged. Workers should therefore be prepared to comply with the applicable plant access and authorization requirements before beginning their duties.
