Key Responsibilities
A Civil Foreman supervises daily construction operations and manages work crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. Responsibilities include coordinating workers, monitoring construction progress, interpreting engineering drawings, assigning daily tasks, inspecting workmanship, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Civil Foreman also coordinates with engineers, project managers, and safety personnel to resolve site issues, manage materials and equipment, and maintain accurate work records. Enforcing occupational health and safety procedures, conducting toolbox meetings, and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are also important parts of the role. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
