Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities
The Gantry Crane Operator will be responsible for operating gantry crane equipment safely and efficiently for lifting, shifting, and positioning heavy loads at the worksite. Duties include conducting pre-operation equipment checks, following lifting plans, coordinating with rigging teams, and ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations. The operator must maintain full control of crane movements, avoid unsafe practices, and ensure that materials are handled without damage or risk to personnel. Reporting any mechanical issues and maintaining operational logs are also part of the role.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must hold a valid SPSP crane operator card and have proven experience in operating gantry cranes in industrial or construction environments.
