Rigger III (Rate: 16 SAR)

Falcom United General Contracting Est. is seeking Rigger 3 personnel for a short-term industrial assignment in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The role is focused on supporting safe lifting, shifting, positioning, and handling of materials and equipment at an active project site. A competent rigger plays an important role in maintaining safe site operations because lifting activities often involve heavy loads, cranes, rigging accessories, and coordinated movement between operators and ground personnel. For industrial projects in Saudi Arabia, reliable rigging support is essential for maintaining work continuity while ensuring that lifting activities are performed according to established site procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The Rigger 3 will be responsible for assisting with lifting and material-handling activities under the direction of the site lifting team. Typical duties include preparing loads for lifting, selecting and using appropriate slings and rigging accessories, attaching and securing loads correctly, checking lifting equipment before use, and guiding loads during movement. The rigger must maintain clear communication with the crane operator and other members of the lifting crew through recognized hand signals or approved communication methods. Attention to load stability, working-area conditions, exclusion zones, and safe positioning is particularly important. The employee may also assist with arranging materials at designated locations and keeping the immediate lifting area organized.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates should have practical knowledge of rigging operations and understand the correct use of common lifting accessories and equipment. Experience working around cranes, heavy machinery, industrial facilities, or construction sites is valuable for this position. A Rigger 3 should be able to identify basic lifting hazards, understand safe load-handling practices, and follow instructions issued by supervisors and lifting personnel. Physical fitness, alertness, teamwork, and the ability to work safely in a demanding site environment are important. Candidates should also maintain valid employment and travel documentation required for the assignment and be prepared to provide the documents requested during the recruitment process.

Industry Context

The assignment is located in Rabigh, an established industrial area on Saudi Arabia’s western coast. Rigging personnel working in this environment may be involved in material movement associated with construction, maintenance, industrial equipment, or plant-related activities. The position is advertised for a 2-month duration, meaning workers should be prepared for a focused project assignment and the associated mobilization requirements. Safe coordination between riggers, crane operators, supervisors, and other site teams is essential, particularly where lifting activities take place around operating equipment and other work crews.
