Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Rigger Level 3 is responsible for planning and executing lifting activities in coordination with crane operators and supervisors. The role includes inspecting lifting equipment, selecting appropriate rigging gear, securing loads, and ensuring that all lifting operations are conducted safely. Riggers are also responsible for conducting pre-lift inspections, identifying potential hazards, following approved lifting plans, and maintaining effective communication with team members during operations. Compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures is essential throughout all project activities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should possess relevant experience as a Rigger Level 3 in industrial or construction projects. Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, load calculations, and safety procedures is required. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of working in demanding site environments. Experience in large-scale industrial projects will be considered an advantage.
