Primary Duties and Responsibilities

A Rigger 1 is responsible for handling advanced lifting operations, preparing rigging plans, and ensuring safe movement of heavy loads. A Rigger 2 assists in basic rigging tasks such as attaching loads, supporting lifting operations, and maintaining safety compliance. A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) manages work permits, ensures all safety approvals are in place, and coordinates with site supervisors before work begins. A Standby Man is responsible for monitoring ongoing operations, ensuring safety compliance, and being ready to respond in emergency situations. All roles require strict adherence to safety standards and coordination with site teams.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should have relevant experience in industrial or construction projects depending on the role applied for. Rigging positions require strong knowledge of lifting procedures, load handling, and safety protocols. WPR candidates must understand permit-to-work systems and site safety regulations.
