Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures at the worksite during shutdown operations. Safety Officers must ensure that all activities are carried out according to approved permits and safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include conducting toolbox talks, investigating incidents, maintaining safety reports, and coordinating with site supervisors to maintain a safe working environment throughout the project duration.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must be SABIC approved Safety Officers with proven experience in industrial shutdown projects. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, risk assessment procedures, and emergency response protocols is essential.
