Safety Officer (25 SAR per Hour)

A reputable contractor, Sultan Mohammed Al Dhafeeri Contracting Est. (SMDC), is urgently hiring experienced Safety Officers. This long-term opportunity is available only for Aramco Approved Safety Officers who have the required qualifications and relevant industry experience. Safety Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities and Daily Work Scope

The selected Safety Officer will monitor daily site operations, conduct routine safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, and ensure all personnel comply with project safety procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing work permits, verifying the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting toolbox talks, investigating incidents, preparing safety reports, and recommending corrective actions whenever unsafe conditions are identified.

In addition, the Safety Officer will coordinate closely with engineers, supervisors, and project management to ensure all work activities comply with Aramco safety regulations. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting emergency response planning, and promoting continuous safety awareness throughout the project.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Applicants must possess a valid Aramco Approval and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in industrial or construction safety. Candidates should have strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, incident reporting, and emergency response procedures.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Applicants should be capable of working independently while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A valid Iqama with at least three months of validity is mandatory, and candidates must be prepared to submit their passport as required by the employer.
