Safety Officer
A project-based recruitment drive has been announced for experienced Safety Officers (Aramco Approved) to join an ongoing industrial project in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is suitable for highly skilled safety professionals with strong field experience in Saudi Aramco environments. The project is short-term with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements. Immediate mobilization is required for selected candidates.
The hiring organization is seeking qualified Indian candidates with proven expertise in safety management within oil & gas and industrial construction projects. Applicants must demonstrate strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures, hazard identification, risk assessment, and compliance with Aramco safety standards. Candidates must be capable of working in high-pressure environments while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with site safety regulations and Aramco-approved safety standards. Duties include conducting daily safety inspections, identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring safe work practices across all site activities. The role also involves conducting toolbox talks, monitoring workforce behavior, and maintaining detailed safety documentation and reports.
The selected candidate will work closely with site supervisors and project management teams to ensure all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. Regular monitoring of equipment, work permits, and hazardous activities will be a key part of the role.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia, particularly in oil & gas or Aramco projects. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and site compliance procedures is essential. Candidates must hold original NEBOSH and IOSH certifications, which are mandatory for consideration.
Preference will be given to individuals with previous Aramco project experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage safety compliance in large-scale industrial environments. Candidates should be disciplined, alert, and capable of handling safety responsibilities independently.
