Roles and Key Responsibilities

A Safety Officer is responsible for conducting daily site inspections, identifying unsafe conditions, implementing preventive safety measures, and ensuring compliance with company and client HSE requirements. Daily duties include preparing risk assessments, conducting toolbox talks, monitoring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating incidents, maintaining safety documentation, and reporting safety observations to project management. The Safety Officer also works closely with supervisors, engineers, and workers to ensure that all construction activities are performed safely while complying with legal and company safety standards. Promoting continuous safety awareness and responding effectively to emergencies are key responsibilities of this position.

Required Skills and Professional Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction or industrial projects.
