SAFETY OFFICER & WPR (NON-ARAMCO PROJECT)
Qussai Abdul Mohsen Abo Juhar Contracting Est. (QMC) has announced an urgent requirement for Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for the Jafurah TR Hajar project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. These positions are intended for experienced professionals who can support industrial site operations by ensuring safety compliance, documentation control, and permit management in a structured work environment.
PROJECT IMPORTANCE
The Jafurah project is part of major industrial development activities where strict safety enforcement and work authorization systems are essential. Safety Officers and WPR personnel ensure that all site activities are properly controlled, documented, and executed in compliance with safety regulations. These roles help reduce workplace risks, improve coordination, and ensure smooth workflow across project operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety Officer (Non-Aramco)
Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring site activities and ensuring compliance with occupational safety standards. Duties include conducting inspections, identifying hazards, enforcing safety procedures, and preparing safety documentation. Candidates must be familiar with OSHA or NEBOSH standards and able to manage safety reports and incident prevention activities.
Work Permit Receiver (WPR)
WPR personnel will manage the permit-to-work system, ensuring all tasks are properly authorized before execution. Responsibilities include handling work permits, coordinating with supervisors, and maintaining proper documentation control using Microsoft Excel and Word. They must ensure that all activities follow approved safety and operational procedures.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Safety Officer candidates must hold OSHA or NEBOSH certification or valid experience certificates. WPR candidates must be proficient in basic computer skills including Excel and Word for documentation control. Only Bangladeshi candidates are eligible for WPR roles. Strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of industrial safety practices are essential.
