Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform welding activities using approved 3G and 4G welding procedures while following engineering drawings, project specifications, and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing metal surfaces before welding, selecting suitable welding equipment and materials, completing welds according to industrial standards, inspecting finished work for quality, and correcting any defects when required. Welders will also maintain welding machines and tools, follow workplace safety procedures, wear the required personal protective equipment, and coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors throughout the project. Maintaining a clean work area and ensuring productivity while meeting project deadlines are also important parts of the role.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have practical experience as industrial welders with proven skills in 3G and 4G welding techniques. A strong understanding of welding procedures, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, metal preparation, and industrial quality standards is highly desirable. Candidates should possess excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely under demanding site conditions. Good communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to follow company safety regulations are essential.
