Key Responsibilities
The selected SS Welder will perform welding activities on stainless steel components using approved 3G and 4G Arc welding procedures. Daily responsibilities include preparing metal surfaces before welding, interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate welding equipment, producing high-quality welds, and inspecting completed work for accuracy and compliance with project standards. The welder will also maintain welding equipment, follow established safety procedures, wear the required personal protective equipment, and coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors to ensure all fabrication work meets client specifications. Maintaining a clean and organized work area while completing assigned tasks efficiently is also an essential part of the role.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have practical experience in stainless steel welding with proven skills in 3G and 4G Arc Welding techniques. A solid understanding of welding procedures, metal preparation, welding symbols, fabrication drawings, and industrial quality standards is required.
