In Aramco projects, welding engineers are responsible for maintaining international welding standards, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting high-quality fabrication and installation activities. Key Responsibilities
Selected Welding Engineers will be responsible for supervising welding activities, reviewing welding procedures, and ensuring compliance with Aramco and international quality standards. Duties include monitoring welding operations, inspecting welding performance, evaluating welding procedures, and ensuring all fabrication activities meet approved technical specifications. The engineer will coordinate with quality control teams, project supervisors, and site management to resolve welding-related issues and maintain project progress. Additional responsibilities include reviewing technical documentation, maintaining welding records, and supporting inspection processes throughout the project lifecycle. Strong attention to quality assurance and workplace safety is essential for this role.
Skills and Requirements
Applicants must possess valid CSWIP certification along with a minimum of 5 years of Aramco project experience in welding engineering or welding inspection environments. Candidates should have strong knowledge of welding procedures, material standards, fabrication techniques, and quality control systems used in oil and gas projects.
