Work Permit Receiver, Fire Watch

Al JAL International has announced an urgent requirement for SEPCO-approved Work Permit Receivers and Fire Watch personnel for a long-term project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The requirement includes four Work Permit Receivers at SAR 30 per hour and four Fire Watch personnel at SAR 20 per hour. Both positions are important to maintaining controlled and safe work conditions on industrial project sites. Work Permit Receivers support the permit-to-work process, while Fire Watch personnel monitor designated work areas for fire hazards and support immediate response procedures when required. The project is identified as SEPCO, and selected candidates will be assigned to the Jubail worksite.

Site Duties & Operational Responsibilities

SEPCO-approved Work Permit Receivers are responsible for receiving and managing authorized work permits and ensuring that work teams understand the conditions and controls attached to their assigned activities. They coordinate with supervisors and relevant site personnel before work begins and help ensure that permit requirements remain in place during operations. Fire Watch personnel monitor work areas where activities may create ignition or fire hazards, particularly during hot work. Their duties include maintaining continuous observation, keeping suitable firefighting equipment available as required, identifying unsafe conditions, and immediately reporting or responding to fire-related hazards according to site procedures.

Required Skills & Documentation

Applicants should possess relevant practical site experience and the approvals required for their respective positions. Work Permit Receiver candidates must have SEPCO approval, while Fire Watch candidates must also hold the required SEPCO approval. Both roles require good awareness of industrial safety procedures, workplace hazards, communication protocols, and emergency response requirements. The recruitment notice requires a valid Iqama, CR, medical documentation, blood group information, and insurance. Candidates should ensure that their documents are current and ready for verification before proceeding. Experience in industrial or construction environments can be particularly relevant to these site-based responsibilities.

Jubail Project Environment

The assignment is located in Jubail, one of Saudi Arabia’s major industrial centers, where large-scale industrial projects require coordinated safety, permit, and operational teams. Personnel may work around construction activities, machinery, vehicles, hot-work operations, and other active work fronts. Work Permit Receivers and Fire Watch personnel must coordinate closely with supervisors, workers, safety teams, and other site departments to maintain controlled working conditions. The recruitment information states that transportation will be provided by the company and describes the assignment as a long-term job. Candidates should confirm exact working hours, accommodation arrangements, and project conditions directly with the company.
