WPR, Mechanical Fitter & Pipe Fabricator
Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector regularly relies on skilled manpower during shutdown and maintenance projects, where experienced workers are needed to complete critical activities within strict schedules. A current recruitment requirement dated 26 August 2026 is offering opportunities for Aramco WPR (EOLB), Mechanical Fitters, and Pipe Fabricators for a shutdown project in Jizan. The vacancies offer hourly rates of up to SAR 40, making this a suitable opportunity for qualified industrial workers who can meet the required documentation and project conditions.
Roles Supporting Shutdown and Maintenance Activities
Shutdown projects require coordinated teams to complete inspection, maintenance, fabrication, and repair work efficiently. The Work Permit Receiver helps control authorized activities, while Mechanical Fitters support equipment maintenance and mechanical work. Pipe Fabricators prepare and assemble piping components required for repair, replacement, and modification activities.
Because shutdown schedules are usually time-sensitive, workers need to be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively with supervisors and other trades.
Main Responsibilities on the Project
The Aramco WPR (EOLB) will support permit-to-work activities by reviewing job requirements, communicating permit conditions, confirming required precautions, and coordinating with supervisors and work crews. The WPR must ensure activities remain within approved permit conditions and report any unsafe or changed circumstances.
Mechanical Fitters will assist with mechanical maintenance, equipment dismantling and assembly, alignment, installation, inspection, and repair activities. They should be able to work with hand tools and mechanical equipment while following project safety procedures.
Pipe Fabricators will measure, cut, fit, align, and prepare piping components according to drawings and project instructions. Accuracy is particularly important during shutdown work because properly prepared piping components help reduce rework and unnecessary delays.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have relevant practical experience in their respective trade. Candidates applying for the WPR position should possess the required Aramco WPR (EOLB) qualification and understand permit-to-work procedures. Mechanical Fitters should have hands-on industrial maintenance experience, while Pipe Fabricators should be familiar with piping fabrication, fitting, measurements, and basic technical drawings.
The recruitment notice requires normal documents, Chamber, and Vendor Code. Candidates should ensure their documents are valid and ready for verification before submitting their application.
