Seventh Planet Contracting Company is urgently recruiting experienced Safety Officers for a 40-day shutdown project at Sipchem, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is specifically designed for professionals with SABIC experience who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance. Safety Officers play a critical role in preventing workplace incidents, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout industrial shutdown operations. Although the project is scheduled for September mobilization, interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible to complete the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities and Work Scope

The selected Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring daily work activities to ensure compliance with SABIC safety regulations and company policies. Their duties include conducting site safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, implementing corrective actions, organizing toolbox talks, monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), maintaining safety documentation, and investigating incidents when required. They will work closely with project managers, supervisors, and workers to ensure all shutdown activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved safety procedures and client requirements.

Required Skills and Professional Qualifications

Applicants must have previous SABIC experience, which is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of industrial health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and shutdown safety management. Good communication, leadership, organizational, and reporting skills are essential for effective performance. Applicants must also have a valid Iqama with a minimum validity of three months, along with Ajeer, Chamber, and all normal employment documents required for project mobilization.
