Role Purpose and Industry Importance
These positions support essential construction, fabrication, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical activities within an industrial project. Scaffolders provide safe access platforms for workers, while helpers and skilled helpers support tradespeople with materials, tools, and general site activities. Welders are responsible for joining structural and stainless-steel components, while electrical, instrument, and mechanical technicians handle specialized installation and maintenance tasks. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Scaffolders will assist with the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures according to approved safety practices. Helpers and skilled helpers will support skilled workers by handling materials, tools, and assigned site tasks. SS Welders and Structure Welders will perform welding activities according to project requirements and approved procedures. Electric Technicians will assist with electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting. Instrument Technicians will work with instrumentation systems and related equipment, while Mechanical Technicians will support mechanical installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair activities. All workers must follow supervisor instructions, safety procedures, and site requirements.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have practical experience relevant to the position they are applying for and be capable of working in an industrial or construction environment. Skilled workers should understand their respective trade procedures, tools, equipment, and safety requirements. Welders should have appropriate welding experience, while technicians should possess practical knowledge of their electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical disciplines.
