Heavy Driver & Mechanical Fitter (Sunrise)

Important Roles in Daily Project Operations
Heavy Drivers support construction and industrial activities by transporting materials, equipment, and other loads between designated locations. Safe driving, careful vehicle handling, and compliance with site instructions are essential to avoid delays and protect workers and property.
Mechanical Fitters, meanwhile, support the installation, maintenance, adjustment, and repair of mechanical equipment and components. Their work requires practical trade knowledge, accurate use of tools, and the ability to understand technical instructions. Both positions contribute directly to maintaining smooth and productive site operations.
Responsibilities of Selected Candidates
Heavy Drivers will be expected to operate assigned heavy vehicles safely and responsibly while following site routes, traffic controls, and supervisor instructions. Daily duties may include transporting materials or equipment, conducting basic vehicle checks, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting mechanical problems or unsafe conditions. Drivers must remain alert and follow all applicable workplace safety requirements.
Mechanical Fitters will assist with mechanical installation, maintenance, dismantling, alignment, and repair activities according to project requirements. They may work with pumps, machinery, mechanical components, tools, and associated equipment. Candidates should be capable of identifying basic mechanical issues, following work instructions, and coordinating with supervisors and other trades to complete assigned work safely.
Experience, Skills & Eligibility
Both positions require previous work experience. Heavy Driver applicants should have practical experience operating heavy vehicles and understand safe driving practices in construction or industrial environments. Mechanical Fitter candidates should have hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, tools, installation, and maintenance work.
A Chamber document is required. Applicants must also have an Iqama with at least three months of validity remaining. The recruitment notice requires candidates to provide several supporting documents, including a CR copy, CV, visa copy, Muqeem, passport copy, insurance, and Body Fitness documentation. The original passport is also required, and all document copies should be in colour.
