Description
Yas International General Contracting Est. is hiring Instrument Technicians for a long-term industrial project in Jubail (Jubail 2 – SABIC Project). This role involves instrumentation installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting in an industrial environment. The position is suitable for experienced technicians capable of working in large-scale petrochemical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Instrument Technicians will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial instruments such as sensors, transmitters, control valves, and monitoring systems. Duties include troubleshooting faults, performing loop checks, supporting shutdown and maintenance activities, and ensuring all instrumentation systems operate accurately and safely. Coordination with engineering and QA/QC teams is required to maintain system reliability and compliance with project standards.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have prior experience in industrial instrumentation, preferably in SABIC or similar petrochemical projects. Strong knowledge of calibration tools, control systems, and instrumentation maintenance procedures is required. Applicants must have valid Chamber registration as a mandatory requirement. Ability to interpret technical drawings, perform precise calibration, and work under industrial safety standards is essential.
