Key Responsibilities & Rigging Duties
Rigger Level III workers will support lifting and material-handling activities while following approved rigging and site-safety procedures. Their responsibilities may include inspecting slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories before use, selecting suitable rigging equipment, securing and balancing loads, and guiding lifting operations through established signals. They will coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and other site personnel to ensure loads are moved safely and efficiently. Rigging activities must be performed with careful attention to load capacity, lifting conditions, surrounding hazards, and applicable site procedures. Workers are also expected to maintain good housekeeping and immediately report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions.
