Main Duties and Responsibilities
Each position has a specific responsibility in supporting project execution and site safety. Pipe Fitters will install, align, and assemble piping systems according to site drawings and project requirements while ensuring safety compliance. Standby Men will remain present during critical operations to monitor work areas and provide immediate assistance in case of emergencies. Firewatch personnel will observe hot work activities such as welding and cutting, ensuring that fire hazards are prevented and safety standards are followed throughout the work period. Flag Men will manage the movement of vehicles and heavy equipment inside the project area by giving proper signals and ensuring safe traffic flow. All selected workers must follow site instructions, cooperate with supervisors, and perform duties according to company safety regulations.
Skills and Eligibility Requirements
Candidates applying for these positions should have previous experience in construction or industrial project environments. Pipe Fitters must understand piping installation methods, measurements, and fitting techniques. Standby Men and Firewatch workers should be alert, safety-conscious, and able to respond quickly during critical operations.
