WPR Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s oil, gas, and industrial sectors depend on experienced permit professionals to maintain safe and controlled work environments. Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group is currently recruiting Aramco-approved Work Permit Receivers (WPRs) for an urgent requirement dated 29 August 2026. Four positions are available for a long-term assignment covering Fadhli, Jizan, and Turaif, with a listed rate of SAR 44 per hour. Candidates with the required approval and complete documentation can apply through the recruitment contacts provided below.
The Importance of a Work Permit Receiver
A Work Permit Receiver plays an important role in controlling potentially hazardous activities on industrial project sites. Before work begins, the WPR helps ensure that the required permits, precautions, isolations, and site conditions are properly understood and followed by the work team.
This position requires strong communication and attention to detail because different activities may involve simultaneous operations, heavy equipment, hot work, confined spaces, lifting, electrical work, or other hazards. An experienced WPR helps coordinate with supervisors and relevant site personnel so that authorized work is carried out within the conditions specified by the permit.
Key Responsibilities on the Project
The selected WPRs will be expected to receive and understand work permits, communicate permit conditions to the relevant workforce, and ensure that work teams follow approved requirements. They may inspect work areas before activities begin, confirm that necessary precautions are in place, and coordinate with supervisors and safety personnel.
During ongoing operations, the WPR should monitor whether the actual work remains within the approved permit scope. If conditions change or an unsafe situation develops, the appropriate action should be taken according to project procedures. Maintaining communication with permit issuers, supervisors, and workers is an important part of the role.
Experience, Approval and Documentation
This vacancy specifically requires Aramco approval, making it suitable for candidates who already have the necessary WPR certification or project authorization. Applicants should have practical experience handling work permits in industrial or oil-and-gas environments and understand the importance of following permit-to-work procedures.
The recruitment notice lists Vendor Code, Absher Iqama, CR, Muqeem, and Medical among the required documents. Candidates should bring their complete documentation for processing and verify that all paperwork is current before visiting the office.
