Key Responsibilities
Crane Operators will be responsible for operating heavy lifting equipment to move construction materials, machinery, and oversized loads while following approved lifting plans and workplace safety procedures. They must conduct daily equipment inspections, monitor load capacities, communicate effectively with riggers and supervisors, and ensure lifting activities are completed safely. Excavator Operators will operate excavators for excavation, grading, trenching, loading, and site preparation while maintaining equipment performance and following project specifications. Both positions require operators to perform routine equipment checks, report mechanical issues, maintain accurate operational records, and comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Close coordination with project teams is necessary to ensure efficient operations and minimize workplace risks.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on industrial or infrastructure projects. Crane Operators should have strong knowledge of lifting operations, load charts, crane safety procedures, and equipment inspections. Experience operating an 80-ton SANY SRC800T mobile crane will be considered an advantage. Excavator Operators should be skilled in excavation techniques, machine maintenance, and safe operating practices. Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. They must possess valid employment documents, including a valid Absher Iqama, passport, insurance, Muqeem status, CR copy, and Chamber documentation. Practical competence will be assessed during the operator test before final selection.
