Flagman – 15 Nos

SMB has announced an urgent hiring requirement for Flagman positions for a long-term industrial project located in Hawiyah. This role is part of a large-scale construction and maintenance operation where safety coordination and site movement control are essential. The Flagman plays a key role in ensuring safe working conditions by managing traffic flow, guiding equipment movement, and supporting hazard-free execution of site activities. This position is suitable for candidates experienced in industrial safety environments and who can work under strict site regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Flagman will be responsible for controlling and directing site movement, ensuring safe passage of vehicles, machinery, and workers in operational areas. The role includes maintaining clear communication with operators and supervisors to prevent accidents and ensure smooth workflow. The Flagman must monitor high-risk zones and provide immediate signaling to avoid unsafe situations. Additionally, the role involves supporting site safety teams during lifting operations, construction activities, and restricted area management. Since the project is long-term, consistency, alertness, and strict adherence to safety procedures are critical.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have prior experience in industrial or construction sites, particularly in safety-related roles. A valid Flagman Card is required, along with certifications such as H2S, First Aid, and Fire Fighting. Knowledge of basic site safety rules and communication signals is essential. Applicants must also hold valid documents including Iqama, Muqeem (minimum 3 months validity), passport copy, visa copy, and insurance. Physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor industrial environments are necessary. Experience in Saudi Aramco or large industrial projects will be an added advantage.
