Description

An urgent shutdown project requirement has been announced for Safety Officers in the APPC industrial facility. This is a short-term shutdown assignment involving high-risk maintenance activities where strict safety supervision and compliance are required. The project is suitable for experienced safety professionals with industrial shutdown exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring shutdown activities and ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations. Duties include conducting site safety inspections, verifying permits, enforcing PPE usage, and identifying potential hazards during shutdown operations. They will also conduct toolbox talks, maintain safety records, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure safe execution of all maintenance activities.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have prior experience in industrial shutdown or oil & gas projects. Strong knowledge of safety procedures, hazard identification, and permit-to-work systems is required. Applicants must have valid documentation including CV, Iqama, passport copy, Muqeem (minimum 3 months), body fitness certificate, insurance, and Chamber registration. All documents must be provided in color copies.
