The recruitment includes Pipe Fitter, Safety Officer, WPR, Fire Watch, Mechanical Foreman, and Rigger Level 3, offering a large number of positions for qualified shutdown workers. Mobilization is planned for the second week of September, with work expected to continue from September through February/March. The company has emphasized that only candidates with genuine shutdown project experience should apply, making relevant industrial background an important requirement for selection.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The Pipe Fitter will perform piping installation, fitting, alignment, dismantling, and maintenance activities during shutdown operations. Safety Officers will monitor work areas, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with project safety procedures. WPRs will coordinate work permits and ensure that assigned activities are performed under approved conditions. Fire Watch personnel will monitor hot-work areas and remain alert to potential fire hazards throughout operations. The Mechanical Foreman will supervise mechanical work crews and coordinate daily activities, while the Rigger Level 3 will support lifting operations by preparing loads, checking rigging equipment, and coordinating safely with crane operators and supervisors.
Required Skills & Professional Knowledge
Applicants must have genuine Shutdown Project experience relevant to their selected position. Candidates should understand industrial site procedures, safety requirements, and the specific responsibilities associated with their trade or role. For the Yanbu Shutdown, Ajeer is mandatory, while other requirements specify Chamber only. Candidates must be prepared for mobilization in the second week of September and should have valid employment documentation ready. Required documents include Valid Iqama, Muqeem, CR, and Medical.
