Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The selected Rigger II will be responsible for planning and performing lifting and rigging activities according to approved lifting plans and offshore safety standards. Daily responsibilities include inspecting lifting equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, and other rigging accessories before use, ensuring all equipment is certified and safe for operation. The rigger will coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and lifting teams to safely move heavy loads while maintaining proper communication throughout lifting operations.

Additional responsibilities include selecting appropriate lifting gear, calculating load weights, guiding crane movements using approved hand signals, monitoring lifting zones, maintaining rigging equipment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and offshore regulations. The successful candidate will actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment while supporting project schedules and operational efficiency.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Applicants must possess a valid TUV Rigger II Certification, as it is a mandatory requirement for this position. Previous offshore experience is highly preferred, along with a strong understanding of lifting procedures, load calculations, rigging techniques, and workplace safety standards.
